Former Zambia National Team coach Wedson ” Wada” Nyirenda was yesterday unveiled as Lusaka Dynamos new coach.
Lusaka Dynamos made the announcement on their social media platforms as the experienced Nyirenda joins on a 3 month deal.
The experienced coach has a wealth of experience having won the Zambia Super League ( ZSL) twice with Zesco United and twice from Zanaco FC
Nyirenda’s last coaching job was in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League side Baroka FC where he won the 2018 Telkom Knockout cup in 2018 before quitting the
He takes over from Ian Bakala who was interim coach and oversaw a 2020 run which has Lusaka Dynamos as the only remaining unbeaten team in the Zambia Super League this year with the club having played 10 games winning 7 and drawing 3.
The club is currently in 6th position on 40 points and just 3 points outside Caf Competition and with Wada’s wealth of experience he is expected to help the club qualify into Caf when the league returns on July the 18th.
