Contractors Optimistic The New Dawn Administration Means Well For Them

By Tinkerbel Mwila

A consortium of local contractors and allied suppliers has commended Infrastructure, Housing, and Urban Development Minister Charles Milupi for taking to task the Road Development Agency-RDA- over the cost of road contracts awarded to local contractors.

Consortium president John Chilupula says the minister`s move to take RDA to task over the exorbitant pricing at which contracts

have been awarded is commendable.

And Mr. Chilupula who is confident that the new dawn administration means well for the local contractors has called on RDA to come up with maintenance programs for the roads constructed by local contractors.

He is concerned that many roads that have been constructed by the local contractors are not maintained or repaired.
