CONFUSION CHARACTERIZES WRITING OF APTITUDE TESTS FOR SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS FOR 2022 CENSUS

Sepo Akabondo

Confusion has characterized the conducting of aptitude tests for successful applicants for the 2022 Census after applicants who had earlier turned up at the Lusaka Business and Technical College in Lusaka were directed to go to heroes’ stadium instead.

This is after the Lusaka Business and Technical College where the test is being conducted was overwhelmed with the large turnout of applicants.

And in an interview with Phoenix News, some applicants have expressed disappointment with the slow progress

and miscommunication with regards the aptitude test they are supposed to undertake.

They have complained that the decision to be moved to heroes’ stadium at very short notice has inconvenienced them adding that proper logistics should have been put in place to accommodate the huge turnout.

The Zambia Statistics Agency –ZAMSTATS- is today conducting an aptitude test for successful candidates who will conduct the 2022 census for housing and population scheduled for 18th August to 14th September 2022.
